MyPractitioner is operated by Quantum Strategies Inc. (“we” or “us”), a company based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The commercial terms for paid Homes must be completed before paid launch.

A Canadian directory

MyPractitioner hosts practitioner listings in Canada. Both regulated and unregulated practitioners may be listed. We do not provide practitioner services or appointment booking, verify professional certificates, or endorse a practitioner, qualification, treatment, or claim. Workplace and booking links lead to independent websites.

Founding practitioners and the lifetime of your Home

During our founding period, Homes are free and available by invitation only. A Home created free during the founding period stays free for its lifetime: we will not charge a listing fee for it later. If we offer paid Homes in future, the price and payment terms will be shown before anyone pays, and paid Homes will have no recurring listing fees.

“Lifetime” means your time practising in the profession or field listed on your Home, plus ten years after your retirement from that profession or field. Moving workplaces does not start this period. If you die while still practising, the ten-year period starts on the date of death. If you die after retirement, the original retirement-based expiry date remains unchanged. You or your authorised representative may request an earlier purge under the Privacy Policy.

When the ten-year period ends, your Home is due for permanent purge. An administrator verifies the expiry date and completes the purge using the eight-hour cooldown, final confirmations, and backup-retention arrangements described in our Privacy Policy. Expiry alone does not automatically delete the Home.

Requests from an estate

If a practitioner dies, their estate’s authorised representative may request a purge or an update to “No longer practising”. We verify the death and the requester’s identity and authority to act for the estate using the reasonable evidence available, such as a death certificate, a published notice, or confirmation through a known contact. We do not require any particular document, and a document alone does not establish authority. Contact us at mypractitioner@quantumstrategies.ca to arrange verification; do not submit documents through the abuse report form.

A verified estate purge follows the same eight-hour cooldown, final confirmations, and backup-retention arrangements as other purges. An update to “No longer practising” keeps the Home visible and hides its booking link; it does not itself publish the cause of the change or delete the Home.

Your identity, titles, and designations

By registering, you confirm that the Home represents you and that its information is accurate and not misleading. You are responsible for being legally entitled to use every prefix, professional title, primary designation, additional designation, and credential you display in each province or territory where you practise. This includes complying with any applicable registration, licensing, and protected-title requirements.

Do not imply that you hold registration, qualifications, membership, or authorisation that you do not hold. A field nickname or description must not misrepresent your credentials or imply regulated status. You must keep your Home current and promptly request a correction if your entitlement changes, expires, is suspended, or is revoked. Payment and publication do not establish or verify your entitlement.

Content and conduct

You must have permission to use the text, images, and other material you provide. Do not impersonate anyone, publish misleading claims, harass others, post unlawful content, or include patient records or another person's confidential information. You remain responsible for your listing and the services you offer outside MyPractitioner.

Reports and review

Anyone may report a concern. We may request clarification or supporting information, restrict a listing while reviewing a concern, or remove content that breaches these requirements. A report alone does not establish wrongdoing. Paying for a Home does not exempt it from review or removal. Responsibility for your listing does not exclude responsibilities that applicable law places on MyPractitioner.

Refunds

Founding Homes are free, so there is no payment to refund. The following applies only if paid Homes are offered.

You may request a full refund of your listing payment within seven days (168 hours) after successful payment, including after your Home is published. Your request must be received within that window; our processing time does not affect eligibility. After that period, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds, except where a refund or cancellation right is required by applicable law. These terms do not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.

To request a refund, email mypractitioner@quantumstrategies.ca with your practitioner Home link and payment reference. Payment-processing arrangements will be finalised before paid launch.

Search visibility

Your payment is for a MyPractitioner directory listing. Search engines independently decide whether and when to index pages and how to rank them. We do not guarantee indexing, a particular ranking, traffic, enquiries, or new clients. Search visibility may take time and may change.

Privacy and deletion

Our Privacy Policy explains publication, private records, retention, and the verified purge procedure.

Governing law

These Listing Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. You and we agree that the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan or the Court of King’s Bench for Saskatchewan, sitting at Saskatoon, as their jurisdiction allows, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about these Listing Terms or your Home, except where applicable law gives you a right to bring a claim elsewhere that cannot be waived.

If MyPractitioner changes hands

If Quantum Strategies Inc. ceases operations, MyPractitioner, including your Home and these Listing Terms, may be transferred to Andrew Trapp personally so the service can continue. We will post a notice on this site before any transfer. If the service cannot continue, MyPractitioner will close and its data, including Homes, registrations, and backups, will be deleted under our service providers’ data deletion terms. Where we can, we will post a notice on this site before the service closes.

Before paid launch

Homes are currently free by invitation, and no payments are taken. Before paid Homes are offered, the price, currency, taxes, payment, refund-processing, and cancellation terms will be added to these Listing Terms.
